受科技部国家遥感中心和863“全球二氧化碳监测科学实验卫星与示范”重大项目总体组委托，由中国科学院大气物理研究所承办的第一届中国碳卫星国际研讨会定于10月15-17日在北京外专公寓举行。会议邀请了美国、英国、德国等国际上二氧化碳监测卫星研制团队的专家参会，开展遥感技术和理论交流。会议针对GOSAT、OCO2、CarbonSat、ASCENDS等卫星计划、CO2浓度反演方法、碳源汇同化与反演、碳卫星地面验证和产品应用等专题开展深入的交流，为中国二氧化碳监测科学实验卫星的研制提供理论和技术方面的支持。会议议程见附件。

THE 1st TANSAT International WORKSHOP –2012

15th October to 17th October, 2012

Beijing, China

OBJECTIVE:

This Workshop aims to summarize the achievement of TanSat Project during the Design phase that will finished by the end of September, and evaluate the current status of TanSat Satellite instrument, ground/aircraft calibration and validate, retrieval algorithm and source/sink inversion. In order to make full use of experiences and techniques from Satellite mission of GOSAT, OCO-2, CarbonSat, MicroCarB, and to make the complimentary observation with other satellite mission in the future, We invite scientists from different teams and universities, the invited speakers and participants are expected to prepare the comments and suggestions on the below topics in their presentations and free discussions. What lessons have we learned from GOSAT and OCO-2? What will we made to improve instrument calibration? Retrieval algorithm? Source and sink inverse modeling? and validation techniques? TanSat observation mode (nadir, sunglint, target)?
